| It's not a GSD breeder, but...UGH!!!!!!!! rockhilldogranch.com And she keeps deleting any and all entries that tell her why she is a bad breeder in her guestbook. That spells d-i-s-h-o-n-e-s-t to me. I had put this in here: Breeding more than 2 breeds, not doing health testing, breeding designer breeds (like Collie Pyreenies), breeding more than 2 litters a year, shipping their puppies to buyers instead of making them come see them, deleting any and all negative entries...keep up the good work, RockHillDogRanch. You'll ruin the breed's health yet, just be persistent. Seriously now, I've been rude lately and yes I shouldn't have. However, that doesn't change the fact that your breeding practices are irresponsible. I'll have you in my prayers that God will show you the honest and right way to breed. Then, it got deleted within 5 minutes. I'm convinced that this...breeder knows that she's doing wrong and doesn't care because she's makin' big bucks. | |

| I didn't like their website - They list the puppy prices like merchandises. Why anyone would intentionally mix breeds? I see "our dog's health info" page is under construction. Didn't see anything about dogs are tested for temperament/physical faults (OFA, PennHIP etc..) This breeder is a bad news. | |

| Whenever I talk about breeders to people, I'm mentioning this "breeder" as a bad example for one. I'll do that with any other unethical breeder that I find as well. | |

| Oh, according to someone (keep in mind that this may not be true), the site is offline until the end of the month due to a low bandwidth. | |

| I know. It's so sad. Ruining the dog breeds just to make money is . | |

| The site is back up. A cross and a flag - that raises a red flag for me right off the bat.
If all their dogs and pups are raised in the house I have two questions. How big is this house? Do they have on sight all the dogs pictured? It's hard to tell. If they have all the dogs on sight, how do they all fit in the house? Okay that's three questions.
Oh, and if you have to keep saying on practically every page that you are not a puppy mill...

| The most upsetting to me, being a Sheltie lover as well as a GSD, Collie, JRT, and Corgi lover, is the Sheltie page. Here's a quote: - Quote :
- he [Sam] is about 7 1/2 months old. 19" Tall and 29lbs
"Sam" is the sire of their latest Sheltie litter. First of all, he's 7 1/2 months old ( WAAAAAY to young to breed) and he's over the height allowed in the Sheltie standard. The Sheltie standard clearly states that Shelties should be 14" to 16". You should NOT breed a Sheltie under or over that requirement. Although, of course, an under or oversized Sheltie makes a wonderful pet.
