| I was just wondering if I am the only GSD owner with a whiney dog on here. Gideon whine when he sees me, and when we are walking too. Does your dog do this? | |

| Cookie doesn't. She will just stare at you with her sad brown eyes. She's always hungry. | |

| I don't think it will get any worse.
You can try teaching 'hush' [something I really need to work on with Travis] if it really bothers you. If you are interested in teaching it and are unsure of how to start, feel free to ask ;]

| Rex is a real whiney boy! When he is waiting to go out, you think that he is hurting! But the tail gives him away, it is a "happy" whine! | |

| Electra is a real vocal dog. especially when we are playing fetch and the ball is thrown she sounds like she whines when she is running after the ball.
Zeus only whines when I won't give him the ball and keep it from him. I give him a "fooy" command and he keeps quite.
Cesar doesn't whine at all.

| Noah only whines when I let him in after I get home from work. It's almost like he is trying to vocalize how excited he is to see me. | |
