This is a nice little test:
http://www.dogage.com/Cookie's DogAge:
- Quote :
- Cookie's DogAge is 24.7! That's 9.9 years younger than the average DogAge for Cookie's breed.
(For those of you who don't know, Cookie is almost 11 years old.)
Treader's DogAge:
- Quote :
- Treader's DogAge is 22.7!
That's 8.2 years younger than the average DogAge for Treader's breed.
(Treader's age is unknown. Guesses range from 2 years to 5 years.)
The only thing that I don't care for about the test is that it condemns feeding your dog "people food" and it promotes brands that I think are bad. Of course, opinions on canine nutrition do differ.
It also downplays homemade (raw, homecooked) diets too, but not in a "Never feed this!" kind of way. In the kind of way I think is good, because people need to have quite a bit of research behind them before feeding any homemade diet.
