Cookie isn't really into toys much at all anymore, but she really enjoyed playing with the new Frisbee last might. My mom bought the Frisbee for me and Charles to play with, but I couldn't resist to see if Cookie could catch it too. The Frisbee is tough rubber, and Cookie is gentle with Frisbees.
There were plenty of times that she missed the it in the air, but surprise surprise unlike other Frisbees, she'd actually try to pick this one off the floor most of the time!

She tried to take it to bed with her at first. I wonder if she wanted to snuggle with it.Laughing

Can you tell that Cookie enjoys this Frisbee?
Photobucket
The staredown...."To pick it up or not, that is the question."

I love this picture. Cookie is trained to bring the Frisbee to me, and she does most of the time.

And finally, the action shot I was hoping for!

Thank you. Smile
I got Cookie a new dish today. A ceramic one instead of her plastic one:
Dogster.com: My brand-new food dish. Isn't it great!?
(It's bigger than it looks at this angle.)

I got it at Wal*Mart. Treader has one too, but it is smaller and his is actually a cat dish. Laughing But if it was a dog-sized dish I'd had trouble getting Treader to eat all of his food. Even with a cat-sized dish, he will only eat half of the food at once.

I feed Cookie one chicken foot a day. It helps her arthritis.

As you can see, Cookie doesn't care for Iams. We're using Iams until we can find a better food. I was feeding Lassie Natural Way, but our local store quit selling it.
