I made a website

It's dedicated to telling about good breeders. I call it Questdriven. And of course I had to include pages for each of my dogs.

The sorta frustrating thing is...it's a website about to educate about what good breeders do that makes them good, but some of the ads from tripod.com are for some breeders that probably mostly aren't reputable. Oh well. I'll just have to ignore it

I really commend your passion to educate people regarding good/bad breeders.

I personally experienced both.

Unfortunately I was rather ignorant when I got Faith. Her breeder operated a state-licensed kennel so I assumed he was "good". Boy was I stupid. Now I know that he could care less about the betterment of the breed. I am pretty sure he doesn't test his dogs for temperament/health - he just breed to make money.

After I got Faith, I had this funny feeling about the breeder and I ordered 4 generation pedigree from AKC. Turned out that Faith's Dam and Sire (pictured in their website, Chance and Hope) were littermates.

I seriously doubt they inbred to enhance any specific characteristics. I love my Faith, but she is far from "breeding quality".

By the time I got Snowy, I learned a little more about good/bad breeder and made a 100% better choice. Snowy's breeder cares about the breed and she is involved in the betterment of the breed all her life. She is involved in White Shepherd genetics projects as well as she serves as President of United White Shepherds Club:

This is a good example of "Not all breeders are equal" I learned this the hard way!!!

What a great idea for a website, Tiffany. You did an amazing job on it! It's very informative and very well done!! I'm sure that you'll make a great breeder someday!!! Put it in my favorites!!!
