KODA

THIS IS KODA, I ADOPTED HIM ON MARCH 7/08 FROM THE SPCA. WHEN MY DOG FLETCHER DIED IN FEBRUARY I WANTED TO RESCUE A DOG IN HIS HONOR, AND I DID. KODA IS DEFINITELY A RESCUE, KODA AND HIS FIVE OTHER SIBLINGS WERE PUT IN THE DUMP LIKE GARBAGE, LEFT TO DIE, THEY WERE SOME OF THE LUCKY ONES, NOT ALL GET OFF THAT ISLAND, THE ANIMAL CONTROL ON THE ISLAND HE'S FROM IS A MAN WITH A SHOTGUN. CUTE THING TOO, IS KODA HAS AN 'F' ON HIS TUMMY - I SAY FLETCHER HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH KODA FINDING US.
HE'S VERY SMART, HE'S ABOUT 12 WEEKS OLD AND HE SITS, SHAKES A PAW, LAYS DOWN, BEGS, DOES THE SHAKE A PAW - THEN THE OTHER ONE (PAW)- THEN THE OTHER ONE (ETC). WE ARE WORKING ON WAVING NOW.
HE LOVES TO GO EVERY WHERE WE GO, LOVES CAR RIDES.
SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO..........

My GSD Zero actually showed up two months after my childhood cat passed away. We had a very close bond and I think he had something to do with Zero showing up my way as a stray (just like he did 14 years ago!) she and I have as close of a bond as he and I did. She has really filled that void!

The ears make him look Collieish, kinda. In fact, his whole body makes me think of a smooth Collie. He'll be a great dog no matter how his ears turn out though.

With the ears being lopsided, they may in fact stand up. We called our boy when he was young, a carpet shark, you never knew when those teeth would get you!
