Sorry..but I have to let out some steam...

Yes, I'm feeling all of those right now. You want to know why? Because my uncle gave one if his dog's puppies to it's home the other day...seems innocent enough...but FOR DOG'S SAKE, the puppy is only 6 1/2 weeks old!!!!!!!!!!
The other puppies will be going to their homes only a few days shy of being 8 weeks old...better, but no cigar.
The puppy that is already in it's home went to my pastor...who has another German Shepherd named Dutchess. He says that Dutchess has adopted the puppy and the puppy follows her around like she's thinks that Dutchess is her momma. I guess the puppy's going to be alright, but WHY DID MY UNCLE HAVE TO GO AND SELL THE PUPPY TOO EARLY FOR!?!?!?!
I all but begged my uncle not to do sell them until they were 8 weeks old...

Yes, but he's the type who doesn't always listen. He gets mad easy...

My mom says that he was fussing at her because I said that he was a BYB. I didn't say it to him, I said it to my dad. My dad must have told him...*sigh* the only person in my family who is with me on this is my brother...

Thanks. He wants us to come see the puppies again this week. Couldn't today or yesterday or the day before...he wasn't feeling good.

well do you best, and we are all backing you up in your decisions. I know that this is hard, but all you can hope for is that the dogs go to good homes. Maybe educate the people that want one of his pups, and tell them that he is a BYB and encourage them not to buy!

Well, my pastor takes good care of his dogs. Hope that this doesn't make anyone mad at me, but I told him that my uncle's dog had GSD puppies. I knew that he has been looking for another GSD for quite a long time...I thought that maybe my uncle would do things right when I did that...I wish I didn't...but at least the puppy got a good home I guess...I'm never recommending my uncle as a breeder again.
There are more than enough bad breeders out there...why do people like my uncle have to make it worse?
