Bash is my baby girl... Shes what, 8 or 9 now? Amazing dog.

She has PRA, EPI and minor CDRM, all of which she got from irrisponsible breeding. She was a 'special needs' case at the shelter I go to, and we could take her on... She had been in the shelter since she was still a puppy, after she was diagnosed by the vets, her previous owners could not give the care she needed.

She is happy now. She has to have her own food, and wear glasses in bright light, but she's ok, and deals with it. She does agility, very well, although sadly she will have to stop soon due to her CDRM. If worse comes to worse, she could end up in a doggie wheelchair like Razzle, and blind...

The shelter was very good, did a little check-up on us... Yadda yadda. Shelter dogs can be amazing, great.

I hope to have many more years with her ^_^

Cookie was a "rescue" dog too, sort of. My dad bought her for $50 from some bad owners who had wanted to breed her. Evil or Very Mad I love my Cookie girl to bits, but she is NOT breeding quality!
As I've said before, we also think that they abused her.
