Black Maxi

This is a picture of Black Maxi. She was our first little girl, and occompanied us on trips, rallys and helped raise our daughter. She protected me against an intruder when I was 8 months pregnant, she protected our daughter against a potential kidnapping 8 years later. She loved our friends and told us who could not be trusted. She will live forever in our hearts. She passed away at age 13 and a half in August of 2005. An amazing girl and proud representative of this incredible breed. I will never love another breed as I do GSD's because of Maxi.

Your Maxi sounds a lot like our Bear Bear. Our Bear Bear, she kept us from giving up through some very difficult times in our lives. Our Shepherds' are our guardians , our best friends amd companions. We are all so lucky to have them in our lives. They are also an inspiration to all of us the way they fight to stay with us even when they are suffering or at death's door.They fight death for us until they can't fight no more.
