| Yes. Defenetly. All my dogs dishes are raised, as they are all moderatly tall... I didn't start doing it until Khobi started having a bit of trouble, but it works and makes it ALLOT easier for them. | |

| Then, ask him if he will take her to the vet when somthing goes wrong because she is eating like that... Then, he'll have to pay money (Maybie even put her down!) when all he had to do was get a few books/chair and raise her bowl off the floor =/
I'll try and find some sites, hopefully you can show them to him, try to persuade him... | |

| I'll get grounded if I say anything else about it. Even if I convince him he will say that I'm grounded because I didn't listen to him when he said to drop it. That's the way he is. But Cookie's health is worth getting grounded for. | |

| I'm completely responsible for feeding, bathing, brushing, exercising, and looking after Cookie. He just pays her vet bills. | |

| He doesn't go to where her food is anyways. Okay. I agree that it isn't good to lie, but this is important. I put a box under her dish. | |

| I'll ask my mom about the heating pad. (She cooperates better.) But she'll probably let me. Cookie's dog food is forumlated to help for arthritis. It did help too, a lot! Before we got it, she was really slowing down. She couldn't run as fast, she took several seconds to get up from laying down, she just wanted to lie around most of the day. This dog food we got her has really helped her! She can run faster, she get almost about jump from laying to standing, and she loves to walk around. She's in good health too! The dog food doesn't make it seem gone altogether, but I'm sure that she would be in a lot more pain if it wasn't for her dog food.

| It's a new dog food. It's called Natural Way (not sure if they sell it in England). It's endorsed by the official Lassie portrayer and we tried it. Great food (at least I think so)! Some people on Dogster say that's it's only 2 stars according to a dog-food rating website, but based on what it did for Cookie, I give it 5 stars. You learn more about it at lassie.com. Oh, and it has no artificial flavors or colors. So Cookie doesn't have to use the bathroom as much. It comes in lamb and chicken. There is one for adults, puppies, and seniors. We were giving Cookie senior (which helps with arthritis even more), but my mom said that she has to drive a long way to get it and that when Harvey's or Wal-Marts starts getting it that she will get it. Harvey's sells Natural Way, it just sells the adult food only.

| Good news! I made one last effort to talk to my dad about the raise food dish issue. Lucky for me, he was in a good mood this time. This time I used what Gideon's human told me to convince him, and it worked! Oh, and Cookie looks really comfortable eating with the dish raised now too. Thanks! | |

| My JRT eats that food, that is the only food that she will eat, without showing signs of allergies. She used to chew on her feet all the time. With Lassies, (what we call it) she leaves her feet alone, and they are not discolored anymore. Good product, for the price. | |
