| Latley, during her agility sessions, Luna has been terrified to go up onto the see saw. She has done it before with me and my mum, quite good (A little bit skittish). But now she just whines and refuses to go up there.
I've tried coaxing her on and lowering it gentlt down without a big bump, but she fidgets like mad and falls/jumps off... Which isn't good for her joints.
I remember my other dogs being weary of it, but they soon got over their fear. I think she is actualy afraid of it.
Any tips? Useful sites would help, too.

| On loveyourdog.com, there was a story about a Golden that acted like that with the see-saw. His owner used cream cheese placed on one end of the see-saw to get him over his fear I think. | |

| You could back off a bit, and restart with it lower to the ground to rebuild confidence. Of course, with bait. Once no longer scared at a low level, just increase by a bit, and treat/bait, and keep working it with confidence, until you finally have it at the proper height. | |

| I used some treats/paste, as well as lowered the see saw as much as I could.
First of all, I just kept it still and let her lick the paste off of it. Then I slowy put paste going up to the see saw, and moved it slightly. She jumped when I did it, but she didn't try to get down.
I moved it higher, and she is sorta ok with it now... I still have to move the see saw very slowly, but she is getting allot more used to it =P
I'm going to try it some more with her later on today
